Salary

The starting salary for the position of Police Officer I is $38,524.  A five percent pay increase is earned by new employees upon successful completion of the probationary period with no performance issues. This will make the salary of a new hire after the probationary period $40,450.

Career Ladder Program

This program allows officers to advance in rank and in pay after completion of the requirements set forth in our General Orders.
